Global Queer Plays: Seven LGBTQ+ Works From Around the World

Global Queer Plays: Seven LGBTQ+ Works From Around the World gathers queer plays from India, Kosovo, Jordan, France, Taiwan, Egypt and Argentina.

This anthology was interesting, but don't expect to have much fun with topics such as:
- homophobia and transphobia
- teen sexual abuse
- dying and dead gays (mostly due to AIDS)
- mention of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon
- Israeli occupation of Palestine

The last two topics were from two different plays, the Jordanian one and the Egyptian one, which were imho the best of the anthology. The French one was the worst (I might be biased because I'm French).

There are mostly mlm and wlw characters, as well as one trans woman (in the ensemble cast of the Indian play) and one enby (in the ensemble cast of the Jordanian play).
