Into the Tower by Hari Conner

The Choose Your Own Adventure book Into the Tower by Hari Conner was so much fun! It's the Masquerade Ball, the only night when you can enter the Tower and get the item you're looking for from the spellbinder princess.

You can play 4 possible characters or even create your own. I did all 5 options. Some of the decisions depend on the character's stats, so it's part CYOA, part RPG. A full game lasts between 1 and 2 hours... or you can die after just 10 minutes. There are beautiful illustrations by 15 different artists.

If you're interested in CYOA books with LGBT rep, this one was a laugh too (very much shorter than Into the Tower, it depends what you're looking for).
