The BL donghua Heaven Official's Blessing is finally back with a second season! I had forgotten how gorgeous it all is, not just the characters, but also the backgrounds. I haven't read the books, so no book spoilers, please.

From the little we've seen, it doesn't seem that the m/m censorship has increased, which is a relief, considering how many dramas are currently in censorship limbo. Also, Wind Master Shi Qingxuan, who appears to be a major character this season, is genderfluid! Based on this and on Ancient Detective's Madam Hei Wu, it seems that trans+ characters do not suffer from censorship (no formal proof here, this is only an empirical statement).

It's only the first episode for now. You'll have to wait until Christmas, I assume, if you want to binge-watch it. :D

I'll def be waiting until the season finishes up lmao. I'm not big on watching new episodes week to week and just want to binge it even if I end up taking like two weeks to watch six episodes of a show because I'm busy. The fact that the option to binge watch it once it's all up is when I'm like, okay. I'm ready to watch it LOL. It's why I was a little salty when Netflix etc. started doing one episode a week for some of the seasons of shows and I was like... y'all. Especially Netflix lmao are literally at the forefront of binge watching and now you want us to wait weekly for episodes?! Nah! 🤣

Yes, I don't binge watch over a weekend, but one episode a day is a nice rhythm. But it's also nice to have a few shows where I can discuss it with other people as it goes along.

Same lmao but we want the option!!!! That and waiting week to week for the next episode is meh. Like if I can't watch another episode for a week, that's one thing, but I want the option to watch 2-3 episodes in a day to be there 🤣🤣🤣🤣
