KOR TV

On KOR TV, you can watch several Korean TV channels live.

I've just heard of it in the recommendations at the end of an Amazon email (because it's available on the Amazon Fire Stick, which I don't have), but you can simply go directly to the website. There's a subscription, but a few channels are available for free.

I'm going to try to watch it a little every day when I'm not in the middle of watching a k-drama. That'll be good for my listening skills, which are still pretty low compared to my reading skills.

Sounds like an excellent language tool. :D

I would love to be able to learn Korean - MG recently pointed out while most of my favourite Asian dramas are Cdramas we actually watch more Kdramas - but I'm already maintaining 'professional jargon related' reading skills in a stupid number of languages and feel like something's got to give... for now. ;D

I think listening skills are harder than reading ones - at least I find it is - but fortunately I only really need the reading ones.

... I may have to expand into reading Chinese soon so that'll be a trip.

Thank you for the link! I watch Korean shows on various sites, because I need subtitles, but an option to watch live programs is interesting. News channels would be good for listening practice, I think, because any news station generally follows a similar format, so there would be some familiarity like "And now for the weather!" or "Today in sports."

=^..^=~
