The BL Thai drama Cutie Pie was a lot of fun.

Lian/Kuea is the main pairing. Lian is a businessman. Kuea is an engineering student, as well as a singer. It's an arranged marriage story, but they've been close since their childhoods, so they already have feelings for each other. Same-gender couples don't have equal rights in Thailand, so this is a moving storyline. I got interested in them when I saw the concept trailer for The Next Prince, but I must say that Cutie Pie was a bit slow for my taste.

Yi/Khondiao is one of the minor pairings. Yi is a businessman and Lian's best friend. Khondiao is a student and Kuea's best friend. So there's a bit of a parallel between the two romances, but Yi/Khondia is SO MUCH BETTER! <3 They're supposed to have their own show, Naughty Babe, out hopefully this year.

Nuer/Syn is the other minor pairing. They're both engineering students at Kuea's school. They were all right, but I wasn't very interested in them.

I tried to watch the first episode of this and got annoyed so I stopped.

I was annoyed by how one of the lead pairing was having to conceal everything he really is and at the time it was enough to put me off.

That said, I recognise of course after watching many things over the years that this is just a set-up for the story and for the other lead to get his shit together so I've been intending to get back to it. :D

But he doesn't have to conceal it, he just thinks he does and he's wrong about it. He's the one who needs to get his shit together. lol

Anyway, Yi/Khondiao are the real winners of this show.

Oh, I guessed that, I was just trying to say at the time I tried to watch it, I was annoyed by it. :D

Sometimes, I'm just not in the mood for something and sometimes it's because I see like three different things at the same time that are going for the same thing.

I definitely plan to give it another go.

I enjoyed Nuer/Syn more than the main pairings in Cutie Pie, but then I watched Bed Friend and the actor who played Syn was so annoying in it that I can't bring myself to watch Middleman's Love when it comes out XD It really put me off the actor, sadly :(

Ah, yeah, that can be a thing for me too. Fortunately, there are enough BL Thai dramas out there to keep you busy. :-)
