Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was horrible.

Content warnings: lots of animal abuse, animal body horror and animal death...

I knew it was going to be about Rocket's past, but I didn't expect so many flashbacks or I would have skipped that movie. Proceed with caution!

There were so many horrible scenes. I don't understand, especially from a franchise that's supposed to be fun. We all know these characters have dark pasts, but they've never focused on the bad like that before, and I'm especially sensitive when it comes to animal abuse. :/

Dan Murrell (the only movie person I really followed) already mentioned it in his spoiler-free review. He dedicated a pretty long part of it to say that the animal cruelty is really bad and you shouldn't watch it with children.

I will watch it next Thursday, but at least I was warned...

Yeah, I'm not one to be about "protecting the children", but if there was one thing I couldn't stand as a kid, it was animal death. You could show me lots of people dying in a war and I only cried when an animal died too.

Now I'm more sensitive than I used to be. lol
