Korea Style

Like last year, I went to Korea Style, a small local event about Korean culture:
- I tried corn tea, which I didn't even know was a thing, and it was yummy.
- I got a picture of myself holding the N Seoul Tower. lol I chose this background because there were cherry blossoms on it and cherry blossoms are always so pretty.
- My 안녕 hoodie got a lot of success and two ladies even asked me where I bought it (answer: on Amazon).

Sadly, the organiser is going back to Korea and most of the people in charge of the different stands come from the Paris region, so the event might not happen any more. :/

Corn tea is made from the corn silk, I think? I actually used corn silk in an herbal study course years ago. It was good.

Yes, I was mostly focused on 옥수수, but it was written "corn silk" in English below.

Corn silk is used for a variety of conditions, bladder problems, blood pressure, etc., in many parts of the world so it was nice to see you mention it as it really is a good thing.

I remember you mentioned it before! If it was a success, maybe someone else will organize it in the future. It does sound like a great event :)

I hope so too. But it's not very likely as we're a small town in the middle of the countryside. There's a very small Asian presence. The people from the Asian restaurant have left too, we're just left with the supermarket for Asian food.

I hope the event finds some way to continue as you enjoy it so much. The vendors from Paris may well interested in coming back - they must have made money on it else they would have stopped long ago!

My Japanese colleagues have talked about Barley tea which seems like a related idea!

Oh no, it's the countryside here, everything is free, even the entrance to the event. Unless they get a little money from the association of the organiser? But it can't be much.
