I Am Not Your Chosen One by Evelyn Benvie was a lot of fun. Kell gets taken to the world of Allune as the new Chosen One, but he's not interested.

There was a lot of humour, with a similar vibe to Sarah Rees Brennan's In Other Lands. I'm going to read the sequel very soon.

Kell is Vietnamese American and biromantic greysexual, with a male love interest. Elves are genderless.
