The Sunshine Court by Nora Sakavic
Apr. 21st, 2024 05:31 pmThe Sunshine Court by Nora Sakavic was the masterpiece I didn't dare to hope for. It's Book 4 of All for the Game, about my fellow Frenchie Jean Moreau <3 and the Trojans' captain Jeremy Knox.
You can start with the short story "Lazarus", about when Renee goes to get Jean at the Nest.
This novel is the comfort part of hurt & comfort, though you get multiple mentions of the hurt part. The poor Trojans had no idea how bad it had been. Some things we knew, others (not many, fortunately for Jean) were new.
Jean and Jeremy are both mlm, and Neil makes a number of appearances. My beloved Laila/Cat (formerly known as Laila/Alvarez, but we've now learnt that Alvarez's first name is Catalina) are major characters. \o/ Cody is non-binary and likely to end up in a poly relationship with an m/f couple. Xavier is trans. Plus, many characters are POC.
