Dark Heir by CS Pacat

Dark Heir by CS Pacat (Captive Prince, Fence) was absolutely amazing! It's the sequel to Dark Rise, where the heroes must stop the Dark King from returning.

I considered Dark Rise to be CS Pacat's strongest work so far, and Dark Heir is even better. The characterisation in particular is wonderfully done. I hope Book 3 will be up to my really high expectations.

Will is bisexual, and I pine for Will/James to happen after it all. <3
