Supernova Soul by Matthew J. Metzger

The novella Supernova Soul by Matthew J. Metzger was excellent. It's the sequel to Like the First Moon Landing. This tome follows Hélène, Maggie's ex-wife, who's stranded on a moon with a few other survivors.

I feel like this part has even more horror vibes than the first one. Toxic and corrosive gases are no fun, for a start.

Hélène is a Black lesbian. Alex is a butch sapphic. (No romance between them.) Zoë is a trans woman. Tariq is an asexual man. Also, Hélène talks about her former relationship with Maggie, so intersex themes are discussed.
