Heaven Official's Blessing Season 2
Oct. 18th, 2023 03:22 pmThe BL donghua Heaven Official's Blessing is finally back with a second season! I had forgotten how gorgeous it all is, not just the characters, but also the backgrounds. I haven't read the books, so no book spoilers, please.
From the little we've seen, it doesn't seem that the m/m censorship has increased, which is a relief, considering how many dramas are currently in censorship limbo. Also, Wind Master Shi Qingxuan, who appears to be a major character this season, is genderfluid! Based on this and on Ancient Detective's Madam Hei Wu, it seems that trans+ characters do not suffer from censorship (no formal proof here, this is only an empirical statement).
