Agatha Christie's Seven Dials

Agatha Christie's Seven Dials on Netflix was excellent.

It doesn't star Hercule Poirot, nor Miss Marple, but a young lady played by the delightful Mia McKenna-Bruce. <3

Apparently, these characters also appear in an earlier novel, so I hope they'll adapt it too.

Good to know. I became of her novels when I was a kid -- too young to recognize some of the dodgier content yet -- and have watched a lot of adaptations that weren't very good.

There are a lot of jokes about the love of mysteries being encoded in English DNA *g* but my mother loved mysteries so I read a lot of her books.

From her collection, I read the Sherlock Holmes stories very early and it left a permanent mark as mysteries are still my genre of choice.

I remember really enjoying the novel of that as a teen. I should check out the show. I always had a weakspot for Stone having to deal with this shit.
