Borderlands was a lot of fun! A little like Guardians of the Galaxy, but with a big focus on women + no romance.

There's a mid-credits scene.

Warning: a lot of flashing lights when they fire guns in the mines.

I don't know why they hate the movie. I mean, I have zero knowledge of the game, so maybe they don't like it as an adaptation, but it does stand on its own very well.
