The Atypical Family

Netflix's k-drama The Atypical Family was very fun and moving. The Bok family has superpowers, but they don't work any more because of modern-day problems. When Do Da-hae appears, they start getting their powers back. What they don't know is that she's from a family of con artists.

With this show, I learnt some superpower vocabulary in Korean.

In addition to the canon m/f, I have an f/f ship: Dong-hee/Grace. <3 (Note that Dong-hee is fat at first, then loses a lot of weight at the peril of her health.)

I didn’t like Bok Gwiju/Do Dahae at all. To the point that I almost quit watching. I only continued watching because of Bok Ina, and Bok Donghee/Grace (❤️). Bok Donghee is my favourite character and I like her character development in general, if not in the particulars.

I thought Gwi-ju/Da-hae was cute. K-dramas are very good at making me ship m/f. lol

Ina was adorable. <3

That's true for me too, but I think that Gwiju/Dahae featured some tropes that I don't care for or that have started to annoy me. (Possibly oversaturation? I need to step back from romances.)
