*nodnod* Like in 잘 먹겠습니다. ^^ In dramas, I often hear people saying 알겠습니다 to their bosses/superiors when receiving instructions/commands, or 알겠어(요) to someone who's explained something to them or told/asked them to do something. (Which is in line with this short YT video.) If what you mean is a polite "oh, I see/is that so" then 그렇군요 is probably better.

/sorry to labour the point, feel free to ignore me, nearly everything I say is inferred from drama dialogue and random internet searches, disclaim, disclaim :-)
