The subtext is still there, but it's not happening. Though I've also always loved Lissa/Christian, and Christian is now played by André Dae Kim. <3

I'm a big fan of Alice Oseman, so I absolutely love Heartstopper, both the webcomic and the TV show. It's very cute, but also has some heavy mental health topics further on, like most of her works.
