Les Illusions de Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton was amazing! It's a spin-off from L'Héritage des Rois-Passeurs: mostly a prequel, but with a few time skips, the last part is a sequel.
This tome is not all about Sav-Loar, the city of the female magicians, but Sav-Loar was definitely what interested me the most. I found it even better than the first book.
