Lake of Souls by Ann Leckie
Lake of Souls by Ann Leckie was great. It's a collection of speculative short stories: some independent ones, some from the Imperial Radch universe and some from the Raven Tower world.
It's probably better to have read at least Ancillary Justice (Imperial Radch #1) and The Raven Tower before this book, but not a necessity.
This was barely queer, I expected more from Ann Leckie. For queer speculative short stories, I recommend Bogi Takács's Power to Yield and Other Stories instead.
